This New York City Hospital, like every other health system in the world, worked tirelessly to help contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Prior to the numbers spiking in New York, they began working with our team in early February to study options for a pre-manufactured construction solution to quickly address the anticipated increase in the number of patients.

​

After only two weeks of design development, we were able to expedite the pre-construction process and go into manufacturing for this ICU project in record time. 

​

DIRTT manufactured the solution in less than three weeks and the ForBuild team was able to install it in one week.  

​

Using this approach, the hospital had an Expanded Emergency Department ready to treat Coronavirus patients in just two months from kick-off to install.
