Renovating an occupied space without disrupting employees is a challenge.

This global organization relied on DIRTT’s quick, clean construction approach to renovate two floors across two buildings in multiple phases to meet an aggressive schedule.

Our ForBuild team worked closely with the architect, the construction manager and DIRTT partners to plan a phased renovation and ensure minimal disruption to the organization’s business and employees. A major advantage of choosing an off-site construction method meant the project required less construction workers and trades on site, all while producing less dust and debris than conventional construction. With pre-manufactured elements received at our logistical facility, we were able to stage deliveries to the secure site during off-hours and be ready to install during typical working hours. A clean construction site meant employees could come and go through the construction zones without concerns for common safety hazards found in conventional construction areas.

A special feature of the project, DIRTT’s innovative Leaf™ wall was installed, affording greater flexibility for the space with it’s ability to fold and collapse with ease.
